دائرة شؤون اللاجئين - 20/10/2020- قال عضو اللجنة التنفيذية لمنظمة التحرير الفلسطينية، رئيس دائرة شؤون اللاجئين د. أحمد أبو هولي: أن العام الدراسي في مدارس الوكالة بقطاع غزة، سيبدأ خلال الأيام المقبلة.
وأضاف في تصريحات لإذاعة (صوت فلسطين) الرسمية: أن 287 مدرسة ستفتح أبوابها لـ 284 ألف طالب وطالبة في القطاع، حيث ستتم المراقبة بشكل مباشر، وسيتوجه الطلبة إلى المدارس بعدد أصغر مما كان عليه سابقاً.
وقال د. أبو هولي: إذا حدث انتشار للفيروس في المدارس سيتم إيقاف الدراسة، وقبل ذلك ستكون الكتب موزعة على الطلبة.
وتابع: لكن من الصعوبة أن تنجح عملية التعليم عن بعد في المخيمات الفلسطينية مع انقطاع الكهرباء، وحالة الفقر التي يعاني منها اللاجئون الفلسطينيون في القطاع.
وأعرب د. أبو هولي عن أمله بأن تبذل وكالة غوث وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين (أونروا) لإنجاح العام الدراسي، مشيراً إلى أن دائرة اللاجئين طلب من (أونروا) بأن يكون هناك توظيف للمدرسين بشكل أكبر.

He added in remarks to the official radio (voice of Palestine): 287 schools will open their doors to 284 thousand students in Gaza, where the monitoring will be carried out directly, and students will go to schools in a smaller number than previously.
Dr. Abu Houli: if there is a spread of the virus in schools, the study will be stopped, and before that the books will be distributed to students.
However, it is difficult for distance education in Palestinian camps to succeed with the power cuts and the poverty situation of Palestinian refugees in the Gaza Strip. He expressed his hope that UNRWA would make the school year a success, noting that the Refugee Service had asked UNRWA to hire more teachers
