دائرة شؤون اللاجئين - 17/4/2021 - نعت دائرة شؤون اللاجئين بمنظمة التحرير الفلسطينية، المناضل الوطني الكبير ، عضو المجلس الوطني الفلسطيني، وسفير دولة فلسطين لدى الجمهورية العربية السورية محمود الخالدي الذي وافته المنية ليلة امس الجمعة الموافق 16/4/2021 في مستشفى يافا بالعاصمة السورية دمشق.
وقال عضو اللجنة التنفيذية لمنظمة التحرير الفلسطينية رئيس دائرة شؤون اللاجئين د. أحمد أبو هولي : بقلوب مؤمنة بقضاء الله وقدره وببالغ الحزن والأسى تلقينا نبأ وفاة المعلم والقائد الوطني الكبير محمود الخالدي (أبو عماد) إنّا لله وإنّا إليهِ رَاجعُون.
وأضاف : ان المناضل الوطني الكبير أبو عماد كان أحد القادة المؤسسين لحركة التحرير الوطني "فتح"، وعضو لجنتها المركزية الأولى، ومن أوائل الذي انخرطوا في الثورة الفلسطينية منذ انطلاقتها، وكان أحد أعمدة الوحدة الوطنية، و من أشد المدافعين عن وحدة القرار الفلسطيني المستقل.
واضاف د. أبو هولي ان الفقيد القائد أبو عماد سخر جل حياته في خدمة قضية شعبه العادلة وحقه المشروع في العودة الى دياره ، وكان على رأس لجنة المتابعة العليا لإعادة اعمار مخيم اليرموك .
وتابع: ترجّل القائد أبو عماد لدار الخلد وهو على رأس عمله سفيرا لدولة فلسطين وممثلا لمنظمة التحرير الفلسطينية في سوريا منذ العام 1969. والذي يعد في رحيلة خسارة كبيرة لفلسطين.
وتقدم د. أبو هولي ، باحر التعازي والمواساة من أسرة القائد الوطني الكبير ، ومن آلـ الخالدي الكرام في الوطن والشتات بهذا المصاب الجلل، سائلاً الله عز وجل أن يتغمد الفقيد بواسع رحمته ويسكنه فسيح جناته، وينعم عليه بعفوه ورضوانه وأن يلهم أهله وذويه جميل الصبر وحسن العزاء .

The Department of Refugee Affairs of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) has attributed the great national activist, member of the Palestinian National Council, and the ambassador of the state of Palestine in the Syrian Arab Republic Mahmoud Al-Khalidi, who passed away yesterday Friday, 16/4/2021 in Jaffa hospital in the Syrian capital Damascus.
A member of the PLO Executive Committee, the head of the Refugee Affairs Department, Dr. Ahmed Abu Houli said: with hearts that believe in God's judgment and with great sadness and sorrow we received the news of the death of the teacher and the great national commander Mahmoud Al-Khalidi (Abu Imad).
He added that the great national activist Abu Imad was one of the founding leaders of the national liberation movement "Fateh", a member of its first Central Committee, and one of the first who engaged in the Palestinian revolution since its inception, and was one of the pillars of national unity, and one of the strongest defenders of the unity of independent Palestinian decision.
Dr. Abu Houli said that the late commander Abu Imad spent much of his life serving his people's Just Cause and legitimate right to return home, and he was the head of the High Follow-Up Committee for the reconstruction of Yarmouk camp .
He continued: commander Abu Imad left to The abode of eternity and is at the head of his work as ambassador of the state of Palestine and representative of the Palestine Liberation Organization in Syria since 1969. His departure is a great loss for Palestine.
Dr. Abu Houli, offering condolences from the family of the great national leader , and from the Al-Khalidi family in the homeland and the diaspora with this great casualty, asking God Almighty that the deceased be blessed with his mercy, and be blessed with his pardon and satisfaction and to inspire his family and his family with patience and good consolation .
